Come celebrate the upcoming holiday season and midwinter revelry! Come Friday for a tavern night with snacks, games, and camaraderie! Saturday will be a fun-filled day as we celebrate the Feast of Saint Nicholas but be careful, for whispers of Krampusnacht coming have also been heard…
As winter settles upon the land and the nights grow long, come join us Friday evening for a night of merriment, music, and good-natured mischief at the Tavern of Saint Philip! Saint Philip was known for his love of laughter, song, friendship, and the company of good people. In his honor, we shall set aside the cares of the day and gather together as friends and companions to eat, drink, sing, play, and make merry.
Pull up a bench and warm yourself by the fire. Share a cup with an old friend—or make a new one. Test your luck and wit at the tavern games and keep your eyes open for whatever entertainments the evening may bring. For this is a night not for solemnity, but for joy!
Whether you come seeking good food, good drink, good company, or merely an opportunity to cause a respectable amount of trouble, the Tavern of St. Philip welcomes you. Come in from the cold and leave your cares at the door. Raise a cup with your companions and welcome the holidays!
As always, this event is a toy drive for Country Santa, a local charity that provides Christmas gifts for underprivileged children. Your gate fee is a new, unwrapped toy, as well as an additional toy for each competition you plan on entering, either martial or A&S.
